1) New devices that have onboarded as of Sunday 15th 2024 at 2:00 AM UTC, devices will not appear across any of Microsoft Defender vulnerability management flows, Additionally, new devices that have become inactive since, may still appear as active across all scenarios.<\/p>\n

2) Impact that may be witnessed across all devices: <\/p>\n

– Software & vulnerability monitoring scenarios which relay on OS version may provide stale information.
– Changes in device properties such as Role Based Access Control (RBAC), Asset criticality, Asset name, Azure workspace info may not propagate correctly.<\/p>\n

Additionally, users may witness the Device Health status within the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint portal showing inaccurate information.<\/p>\n

Current status: We’ve identified that a recent infrastructure migration caused stale data across Microsoft Defender for Vulnerability Management scenarios. We’re assessing available options to mitigate impact.<\/p>\n
