Users can also create a new form from Excel desktop with a data sync connection to the Excel workbook.<\/p>\n<p>This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/microsoft-365\/roadmap?filters=&amp;searchterms=466743\" target=\"_blank\">  466743<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>[When this will happen:]<\/p>\n<p>General Availability (Worldwide): We began out mid-November 2024 and expect to complete by mid-February 2025.<\/p>\n<p>[How this will affect your organization:]  <\/p>\n<p>Users can choose an open form&#8217;s result data in Excel desktop from Forms and get up-to-date data.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 600px;\" src=\"https:\/\/img-prod-cms-rt-microsoft-com.akamaized.net\/cms\/api\/am\/imageFileData\/RW1rhUI?ver=ded2\"><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 0);\"><br \/>  <\/span><\/p>\n<p>If a user doesn&#8217;t yet have the version of the Excel desktop app that has this feature, the user can still check the synced data in Excel for the web.<\/p>\n<p>Users can create a new form from the Excel desktop app.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 600px;\" src=\"https:\/\/img-prod-cms-rt-microsoft-com.akamaized.net\/cms\/api\/am\/imageFileData\/RW1rcID?ver=4d40\">  <\/p>\n<p>This new feature is available by default.<\/p>\n<p>[What you need to do to prepare:]  <\/p>\n<p>This rollout will happen automatically with no admin action required.
